Since The Anhui Provincial Politics and Consultation Standing Committee Wang Zhao-Jun’s Open Letter to Hu Jin-Tao and Wen Jia-Bao was publicized on a website on 26th October, it has caused huge waves of resonance domestically and abroad. In his open letter, Wang Zhao-Jun objectively analysed the situation in China with his in-depth and detailed observations. He openly proposed the regime allow freedom of speech, end the persecution of Falun Gong adherents, and to have the Party be open to the criticisms of the public so as to realize democracy under constitutional administration etc… At the interview with SOH Radio, Wang Zhao-Jun expressed that the autocracy and dictatorship under the rule of the Communist Party hinders the development of the society. As mentioned in Wang’s open letter to the top authorities of The Communist regime, the reformation of the state enterprises by the regime has caused a tremendous social injustice, and the solution proposed is to set up an independent workers’ union.

In Poland, the independent workers’ union had won the support of the nation, which lead to the demise of Polish Communism. If it is allowed to form in China, will history repeat itself?

Wang Zhao-Jun said: “It wouldn’t matter if this independent union caused the Communist regime to step down. The National Party (Guo-Min-Tang) also stepped down. If the Communist Party can prove itself to do better, then, it will be re-elected to be in power. It should be like that. What is it when the Communist Party just seizes the power?! As one generation of Communist leaders passes away, the next round of leaders should be like common folks. The only difference is that those people in power have climbed up there by flattery. The banner upheld by those in power no longer befits the times, but they persist in it, the autocratic power. In fact, it is very unwise and stupid. If it really has the capacity (to run a state), then it can reform itself to be elected to power.”

Wang Zhao-Jun: “In actuality, the capable people within the Communist Party prefer running a democratic system. Then, why don’t we set up a political party to win the hearts of the people? If I step into power, then, the collective groups should manage the state affairs. One cannot prostrate all the time to receive ordinance with bent backs to implement the policy steadfastly. Where has this person’s character gone? Not to mention being creative. The situation appears to be very conservative and no one dares to move an inch from the top level to the grass root. Once one says something, people would say that person is shocked by electricity. How can the society advance forward in this way?”

Wang Zhao-Jun stressed that the calamities created by the political system of the Communist Party are surfacing. Wang regards his guts to speak out as his responsibility for being a member of the Politics and Consultation Standing Committee.

Wang Zhao-Jun: “As time passes, everyone will be able to see in a short period of time that the stock market will become crumpled, commodities prices will skyrocket, etc… All kinds of disasters will crop up with intensified adverse situations emerging in a short time. In fact, these issues should be raised to the attention of the top leaders as we should be responsible for the country and people. As a leader, one should have a bird’s eye view overseeing the situation, but he still needs to have consultation groups and he also needs to hear the voices of those at the grass root level. Especially someone like me being a member of the Politics and Consultation Standing Committee, I am obliged to air my voice if problems are detected. Thus, I carry out my duty to the society.”
