Breaking News – Hundreds of appealers arrive in Tiananmen as the National People’s Congress commences
The CCP’s 11th National People’s Congress began on March 5 and hundreds of appealers from all over the country who have prepared to appeal at the Congress venue were intercepted by thousands of police heavily guarding the venue. Appealers then changed course and went to Tiananmen Square to appeal and handout fliers but were quickly captured by police.
“Appealer Chen Qinglian from Hei Bei province arrived into western Tiananmen square at around 8.00am in the morning with his mum and they were discovered by over 10 police. They loudly pronounced their innocence whilst being captured by police and taken to the Tiananmen branch of the Buruea of Public Security. Chen was interviewed by our reporters at the Bureau and says that “Yesterday information from the Beijing High Court was, the streets were lined with hundreds of police cars to intercept the appealers”
“by being captured in Beijing, we just want the attention of those highly ranked in the central leadership group. Let them see the corrupt status of local governments and the plight of the people. There are no human rights. I am not scared, because I’m appealing for my father, I will go even if I am scared.”
“Chen Lainqing saw that Tiananmen was surrounded by four layers of guards, ready to receive orders. Groups upon groups of appealers are captured into the Bureau of Tiananmen Square, in the afternoon they were sent to Ma Jialou Detention Centre to be detained.”

Appealers are detained in substations of The Bureau of Tiananmen Square, there are people everywhere inside, you cant count how many there are”
Appealer Chen Fanglang from An Hui province had his family of 7 killed by the local bureau of public security. The bureau destroyed evidence so that he would have no proof and he was captured whilst attempting to jump off the Golden Water Bridge. Chen says that “The bureau is simply feeding a group of gangs. They have killed my family, I cannot continue to live. I wanted to jump into the river, they wont let me. I have nothing, no home, I wish I could die here.”
Appealer Tao from Fujian province had his home demolished by the city government without any formal procedures being taken. Today he saw many more appealers in despair who have brought petrol and alcohol in preparation for self-immolation.
