The Devine Performing Arts troupe of New York again has once again delighted audiences in their final performance in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. A number of politicians and dancers within the audience were especially touched by the genuine Chinese culture portrayed by the Spectacular and were also amazed by the elegance and beauty of the performances.

Wu Yuhui is a Sector Chief of Kaohsiung City Government’s Bureau of Social Affairs. “I think that they’re performance is…too amazing, he says, from the expressions on their faces of happiness, delight and peace as well as the feeling of pure femininity…they portray this from their respect of the heavens. I can feel this in each of the dance sequences, he goes on to say, it is very touching, they really wanted to express and promote the uniqueness of the Chinese culture which is firmly based upon respect of the heavens.”

Legislator Wu Jingshi from Pingdong County says “I liked all of the programs. The traditional classical dancing brings about such beauty.
All of the stories told were very explained so deeply. I really really enjoyed it.”

Legislator Wu said that she will not only tell her friends and family about the Devine Performing Arts Spectacular, she will also tell those people in her electorate who visits her office.

Head of Kaohsiung dance Association Madam Hung Huishao commented, “it was choreographed so well, it was very grand, from the dance perspective, it was just such a pleasure to watch, you can say…well, it’s like an enjoyable feast of dances.”

The Devine Performing Arts of New York has concluded its 5 day stay in Kaohsiung. On March 9th it will begin its performances in Taizhong city.

According to organisers of the Chinese Spectacular in Taiwan, the recommendations of audiences who have seen the show means that the ticket organisers in Kaohsiung are run off their feet and have had to increase seating availability to meet demands. The organisers are reminding people to reserve their seats for the up coming performances in Taizhong, Taipei and Jiayi as there are only a few tickets left.
