Beijing appealers welcome Human Rights Torch [1:48m]: Play Now | Play in Popup | Download

In a response to the Global Human Rights Torch Relay entering China, on March 24, 6 appealers in Beijing tied yellow ribbons to their necks and took a photo of themselves holding the symbol of the torch relay to show. The appealers are showing to those around the world who care for the human rights situation in China that they are the first to respond to the Human Rights Torch entering China.

On March 23, the swearing ceremony to welcome the Human Rights Torch into China was held in Hong Kong with huge supports given by both international and Chinese human rights organisations. The news quickly spread to Beijing, and appealers who received the word quickly relayed the news to one another. Amidst tight security and surveillance in Beijing, the 6 appealers were able to transmit a photo of their support overseas and they hope for foreign media will let the rest of the world hear their message “Same World, Same Human Rights”.

Many photos showing yellow ribbons and symbols of the slogan “Same World, Same Human Rights” have been widely spread within appealers in Beijing. The Nationwide Frontier on Anti-Oppression have also released news that that many appealers from Beijing and others joining them have not retreated under the violent autocratic rule of the Chinese Communist Party. Even under heavy military and police surveillance the appealers are able to hand out tens of thousands of Human Rights Torch fliers and thousands of yellow ribbons. The news of the Human Rights Torch entering China is becoming more widely known and the sparks around the country are beginning to ignite.

The above news is brought to you by He Tong, Yu Lian and Chris Thomas for Breaking News on the SOH Radio Network.

Re: Read, Share-Sign – Support Everywhere, Everyone

Dear Friends Of Universal Human Rights Locally & Globally,

My main point is to reach people locally and globally, through the internet and where ever a human heart is open, willing to help me gain signatures to support the Human Rights Relay Torch, as well as sign their names to stop the Chinese Communists aggressively abusing, torturing, killing citizens and youth of, Tibet, Darfur, Burma, Uyghurs, Christians In China, The Falun Gong right now. Most importantly already we know of well over 41,600 organs and tissues have been harvested from these named peoples and youth above, and we are more than sure there are even more prisoners being harvested for their organs and tissues..Then their organs and tissues are being sold to the highest bidder inside, outside China globally. It is a tragedy beyond comprehension!

There is nothing more distressing to know a loved one is or has been severely abused, beaten, tortured, but to know your abusers are robbing you, (or a loved one, or any human being) of their organs and life only to sell them, and gain monies on each life is the worst we have to date of horrific human rights abuse. Most surely, these people are not people, but monsters from hell.

I personally know about how the Communists are, for my own father as a young man lost his parents, four sisters, extended family, friends to the Russian Revolution, gulags, concentration camps. As a young teen he was captured and thrown into a white Communist Gulag, enduring torture, beaten, hearing names called each day to be sent to their deaths, then he himself sent before a firing squad, but by a miracle, escaped. Of course later in life after arriving here in the United States, psychologically that early experience changed him. Life of course to my brother and i were always in receipt of receiving types of tortured experiences he went through, we believe as a teen in those dark gulag days. Family wise it did not stop with my family members. For me, I went through added injury and suffering by KKK that also included torture, starvation, beatings, rape, etc.

My husband is Armenian, and surely you know the history about the 1915 genocide. But his dad’s father was arrested by Lenin, along with another member of his family, taken to a communist gulag, never to be seen again. My husband’s mother also was arrested as a young girl, incarcerated for some time in one of Stalin’s prisons. So you understand from our own families, why we feel so strongly against communism anywhere and to any type of abuses or torture, etc..

But the most important part of my post is to ask if you would be kind enough to help me reach out from your website and or in your travels to gain signatures. I am asking youth and global citizens to send letters to the leader of their nation, with a copy to the United Nations, (especially for peoples waiting for a transplant of any kind, or with one or more disabilities), along with family supportive and friends, to write to demand that a halt be demanded for the Chinese Communists to stop the harvesting, the abusing and killing of innocent civilians and youth, inside and outside China. Stop supporting Sudan , and the Genocide in Darfur .

I wish I could do more, but presently I am, as well life-long, now a dialysis patient waiting a kidney donor. I used to do more in and for my advocacy, though I already have over 5 other disabilities. This last one seems to be the kicker. I realize of course, there may be no donor for i am a rare blood type, O negative, and already have waited 7 years. I am told I will have to wait another seven years. I have decided not to waste time, but to reach out however I can and not be afraid of asking for help, in the time I have left. I realize, I may not have 7 years at all, so each moment I can gain a person to write a letter will hopefully save a life from being harvested, or killed.

I am terribly upset with what is transpiring in, outside China, as well in Tibet and other nations dominated by China. I realize even more how important the gift of life really is and so I ask you and others you know, if you will help me to reach out, further than my city? Don’t know how to make a website, or anything further than my having to go person by person, obviously a hit and miss for someone as myself. Still I do not want to give up, but gain as many letters to be sent as possible, for it may mean the difference between a person staying alive, or being killed, and or going through worse before being killed.

Perhaps if you know people willing to help me further I would be so appreciative. I want you to know I am Russian Orthodox Christian by baptism, but married in my husband’s church, and today we attend an Armenian/American Church, here in San Francisco, called, Calvary Armenian Church; the service is both in Armenian and English. In my lifetime, over and over, faith has been what has carried me through, and allowed me to do more than survive!

I have been asked to speak at San Francisco ‘s Tibetan Universal Human Torch Relay Rally, April 5, 2008, 11 AM, in Union Square , and hold the torch for a few moments. It is something I never thought I would ever be asked to do, as a human rights advocate, in my lifetime. I am asking people to join with me at this important rally, to support Universal Human Rights, the peoples of Falun Gong, the citizens of China (not the communist leadership), being held prisoners, (in labor camps) the Tibetan citizens and children, the monks and sisters of Tibet, the citizens and children of Burma, the Uyghurs, and yes Christians as well are being incarcerated, and perhaps worse; in sum countless millions under Communist domination.

I hope we will have peoples from every city/nation to be supportive, as well peoples with every type of known disabilities. As peoples with disabilities, we must be very supportive of these Universal Human Rights, as well to our brothers and sisters now going through these impossible trials, abuses, torture, killed for harvesting.

We must not keep our silence, but as a body of human beings, no matter how fragile our circumstances, with one day to live, or 75 more years, we must stand here in the Cradle of where Human Rights was first offered, and say strongly no more killing fields, no more to the disabling of human beings, Not from China, not from anyone, anywhere on the face of the globe.

Thank you for taking time from your very busy life’s schedule to read my post. I am most appreciative of your kindness. I look forward to hearing from you, and or someone from your organization to assist me till I can hear from you directly.

Wishing you all the best and always God’s Blessings, I remain most
