News on 29 April that the performance of Divine Performing Arts in Vancouver, Canada, was extremely popular.
Many Chinese immigrant audiences were gathering at the theatre hall during the recess or after the performance and enthusiastically shared about their feeling towards the performance.
Mr Li a construction contractor said “I was shopping in the mall when I saw a lady selling the tickets for the performance, and I was very curious so I bought the ticket and came to see the performance.”
Mr Li said he is very angry at the interfering of the Chinese Communist Authorities towards Divine Performing Arts. He said “I did not know what this performance is about. From the radio, I was informed that the Chinese Communist government instructed its diplomats to obstruct the performance. I am very angry. Every time the Government does not want people to know about any thing, I would like to promote it. I would like to promote this performance because of the information it conveyed, such as we have different approach to deal with different matters, whether it is show in the form of political or media.”
Mr Li also said “for me personally, this performance has been widely praised. When I listened to the radio and before seeing the performance, I knew nothing about the matter. I think this is the best way to let people get the information. You will get the information from the performance. I think people have their right in the maximum limit to express their religious belief or political demand.
