Breaking News – Xinhua News Website radically deleted the posted earthquake prediction report before the quake struck
According to a report by SOH, since the Sichuan earthquake, there have been a number of experts who had written to the authorities, disclosing earthquake predictions that the Chinese Communists have always denied by saying that there was no pre-earthquake warning. But on May 21, the mouthpiece of the CCP quickly removed a post named ” Forecast prior to the earthquake and reported quake prediction to the Provincial Communist Party Committee and the Provincial Government”.
On May 20 an article over Xinhua News Agency website, entitled “Lu Hao says Gansu Seismological Bureau forecast Wenchuan Earthquake” clearly revealed the existence of an earthquake prediction before the fact. Soon after, Xinhua News Agency very quickly deleted the article, but the full text of the report can still be seen in the few reproduced and a Baidu snapshot.
This report said the Provincial Seismological Bureau had done a lot of work before the earthquake and post-earthquake of Wenchuan 8.0 scaled quake in Sichuan Province. The buearu did forecast the trend of the quake, and issued a report to the provincial party committee and government.
This report clearly shows the officials’ awareness of an earthquake prediction that was concealed from the public who died tragically as a result of the repression of such information.
“Southern Worker” Newspaper disclosed that a school in Wenchuan received the emergency notice an hour before the quake and the school evacuated immediately to secure the safety of students and staff. After that, Xiamen Evening newspaper also reported some people received the pre-quake warning from the Guangyuan Government. Those who received pre-warning of the tremor had survived the calamity. “Xiamen Evening News” published an article titled “My Story” where the same counts are recorded. Because of the government’s prior-notice of the earthquake, people were evacuated to safe places.”
