With the approaching Olympic Games, family Christian church members are facing a new wave of brutal oppression and persecution by the Chinese Communist Party. On June 18, 13 underground Church members in Yichuan city in Heilongjiang were violently arrested by CCP law enforcers who broke in during a gathering of friends and relatives. They were subjected to several days of threats and interrogation
Eyewitness MR Sun said during the arrest, one female member’s arm and head were injured by police brutality. Mr Sun said despite vomiting and displaying symptoms of dizziness, the woman was not admitted to hospital for a few hours and was left in the hospital without any medical fees being paid. After June 18, the arrested members continued to be interrogated separately, and their personall safety was threatened. Mr Sun added that the members personal properties were also prayed upon by the so called law enforcers.

Members of the Yichuan City Family Church have called on the international community’s assistance in the matter.
