On April 6, an annual Fa confrerence was held at Lingque Temple located in Daofu Township of Ganzi area, Kang District of Sichuan Province. Communist troops opened fire, resulting in 10 Tibetans being wounded in the shooting, and five of them seriously injured.

The largest monastery of Ngawa county in Sichuan, Kyidi Temple was raided by police in the early hours of March 30th. Army troops confiscated delicate holy instruments from the shrine, such as Tibetan knives, swords and bows, to use as levy for “evidence” of the monks’ resistance.

In the afternoon of March 26, including Hong Kong and Taiwan media, more than 17 foreign journalists, arrived in Lhasa, the Tibetan capital which is currently under bloody suppression by the Chinese Communist Party. Surrounded by thousands of uniformed police, and military personnel under martial law, a “show” interview was conducted.
