On May 6, the The World Uyghur Congress said that in order to prevent Uyghur people from demonstrating during the Olympic torch relay in June in Xinjiang, the Chinese Communist regime has recently set up surveillance guards in its counties on streets to monitor and detain Uyghur people, transforming the city into an open jail.
